Made in collaboration with Japanese label Needles, the Asics x Needles Gel-NYC features the EX89 sneaker silhouette, blending heritage of the GEL-EXTREME basketball shoe from 1989 with modern cushioning properties. Originally designed by Toshikazu Kayano in the late 1980s as his first project for Asics, the sneaker has a layered leather upper construction.
